Electricity plays an important part in the provision of access to safe drinking water. In some communities, the lack of electricity may mean a lack of access to water. Keeping that in mind, the company has developed Water Kiosks that run entirely on solar power, with IoT controlled functions, including monitoring of water quality, water treatment and cleaning. The fully automated system can be controlled by mobile app and offers safe, sustainable and affordable drinking water for rural communities. Further, the company has integrated water treatment technologies like ceramic filtration etc that consume very minimal power. The water wastage is minimal (2-4 %) and the water quality is good. For power backup, they have integrated used lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles. These batteries are of no use for the vehicles but serve as a great source of power storage for these water kiosks.
